Siły militarne Achenatona i ich społeczno-religijne zaangażowanie

W okresie panowania „heretyckiego” króla Echnatona częściej niż w poprzednim czasie pojawiały się obrazy wojska i policji, zwłaszcza w kontekście pogrzebowym, na talattach świątyni oraz w dekoracji budowli królewskich. Artykuł ten zawiera krótki wgląd w struktury sił zbrojnych (w tym policji), aby przedstawić pewne obserwacje ich zaangażowania w życie społeczno-religijne podczas panowania Achenatona w Tell el-Amarna (starożytne Ahetaton, „Horyzont Atona”). Można zasugerować stwierdzenie, że armia odnosiła się zarówno do potęgi militarnej, jak i do ideologii królowania Achenatona.
