Annales Universitatis Mariae Curie-Sklodowska, sectio J – Paedagogia-Psychologia

The journal “Annales Universitatis Mariae Curie-Skłodowska. Sectio J. Paedagogia-Psychologia” has been published continuously sine 1988, initially as a semi-annual, and since 2016 as a quarterly. The main aim of the “Annales…” is the presentation and dissemination of paedagogical and psychological knowledge with regard to theoretical findings and reports about new research. The published articles cover a broad range of psychological and paedagogical issues within social sciences. The authors of the published texts are primarily the representatives of leading national centres, and also the representatives of foreign scientific communities. The studies published in Annales include articles written by recognized scientific figures, specialists and practitioners, as well as young scientists. The editors of the journal take special care to a high professional quality of the texts published, with particular attention to ethical principles applicable in scientific publications. 

“Annales Universitatis Mariae Curie-Skłodowska. Sectio J. Paedagogia-Psychologia” consistently develops its international profile by creating a space for scholarly cooperation among researchers representing various academic centers, with particular emphasis on the Ukrainian scientific community. This direction responds to contemporary social, educational, and cultural challenges arising from changes taking place in Europe and from the consequences of the war in Ukraine, which affect education systems, social institutions, and local communities. Cooperation with Ukrainian researchers is an important element of the journal’s internationalisation, fostering the exchange of experience, the initiation of joint research undertakings, and the building of lasting relations between Polish and Ukrainian academic centers. The journal thus serves as a platform for scholarly dialogue, enabling the dissemination of research findings concerning educational and social problems of regional, cross-border, and European significance. The mission of “Annales…” is to develop responsible, empirically grounded, and socially engaged scholarly reflection on education, upbringing, and human support in a changing reality. Through its openness to international cooperation, the open access model, and the promotion of academic dialogue, the journal strengthens the quality of research, the internationalisation of Polish science, and the European space of scholarly cooperation.

The journal is indexed in: CEEOL, CEJSH, ERIH PLUS, EBSCO, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), ICI Journals Master List (ICV 2024 = 100.00).

From 2021, this magazine is published only in electronic version.
